Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Dishy Delishy (the "App"), operated by TF Halibut ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Dishy Delishy is a meal tracking and logging application that allows users to:

  • Log meals with structured data including meal type, date, time, and notes
  • Upload and manage photos of meals
  • Plan future meals
  • Share meal data with other users through groups
  • Categorise meals using tags
  • Browse meal history via timeline and calendar views

Account Registration

To use the App, you must sign in using one of the supported authentication methods (Google, Apple, or email) via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and upload through the App, including meal entries, photos, notes, and tags ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant TF Halibut a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App's services to you and your group members.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Your content does not infringe the rights of any third party

Group Features

The App allows users to create and join groups to share meal data. When you join a group, your meal entries, photos, notes, and tags within that group are visible to all other members. You are responsible for the content you share in groups and should exercise appropriate judgement when sharing personal information.

Subscriptions & Payments

Dishy Delishy may offer premium features available through in-app purchases or subscriptions ("Premium Tier"). Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and processed by RevenueCat.

  • Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account upon confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Refund requests are subject to the policies of the respective app store (Apple or Google)
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload content that is offensive, harmful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
  • Use automated systems or bots to access or interact with the App
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, logos, source code, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by TF Halibut and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of your User Content as described in the "User Content" section above.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to other users or the App.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the App. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the App will be corrected

You use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any meal data, nutritional information, or other content within the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TF Halibut shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars (USD $50), whichever is greater.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TF Halibut is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
