Whoop girls night! This week on Kiran’s recommendation we decided on Blacklock in Soho for our dinner fix.
Trollied up on cocktails from Ham Yard Hotel and Archers Street (which you should defo go to- singing bar staff!) we headed down to the basement for some ‘meat time’. We were hungry, bring it on!
So Blacklock do chops. Lot and lots of chops. And wine, oh the wine.
The place is super cool. Low lights, benches and chalk board specials. Chillin. We also seemed to be the only girls in the joint- ha.
We shared a casual 1000ml jug of delish red.
All hands were shown for the ‘All In’ which basically covers all of the chop kinds. First we were given some cute bites to keep us going.
Then this. This beautiful platter towered high with beef, lamb and pork chops on chargrilled flatbread. The smell was insane.
We dug in hands first.
Don’t forget the sides. Chunky beef dripping chips, kale and Parmesan, onion gravy (Northerners at the table) and 10 hour roasted sweet potato. 10 hours! Look at the black skin, it was the best.
The spread was incredible. Such a barg too. We licked our fingers and finished our eve in All Bar One with cheapy cocktails and random dancing- standard Thursday.
