I’ve eaten well with work the past few weeks, here’s my picture highlights with little descriptions. Full reviews on the Bookatable blog.
 
Chamberlains- Central London
 
I took my friend Rina for some fine fish in bank. Chamberlains in the Leadenhall market. Super fancy and delicious. Lot’s of prosecco made for a sore head the next day!
Bread basket
Irish oysters served with shallot vinegar & Tabasco
Anchovies on a bed of puy lentils with a red wine reduction
Hand dived scallop garnished with brawn, tartar, caviar & capers
Sautéed foie gras garnished with rhubarb, elderflower & spiced bread
John Dory garnished with crushed Jersey royal potato, runner beans, chantenay carrots, pea purée & truffled butter sauce
Roasted rose county fillet steak, garnished with charred confit shallot, pink top turnip, Anna potatoes & truffled butter sauce
Sides: Fresh crunchy asparagus, hand cut  chunky chips, and creamed spinach
Apple & vanilla baked parfait & panna cotta
Mango & passion fruit cheesecake, jelly & sorbet

A fun night with Holly at a teppanyaki- great chef, lots of laughs and tons of food and cocktails!

Gillray’s Steakhouse and Bar- Westminster
 
As a steak lover I couldn’t turn this review down- i took Lou who also loves a good cut of cow! A wine paired with each course and a lush view of the river, Big Ben and houses of parliament- fantastic evening.
